Marine Insurance Claims β€” Boat Removal & Recovery Support

AAA Boat Salvage provides boat removal, salvage, and recovery services that support marine insurance claims β€” total loss vessels, storm and CAT event response, and documentation for your claims file β€” statewide across Florida and beyond.

πŸ“‹ Documentation Provided πŸŒ€ Storm/CAT Event Response πŸ—ΊοΈ Statewide Florida + GA, AL, NC & SC
Please note: AAA Boat Salvage is a boat removal and salvage company β€” not a licensed marine surveyor, appraiser, or claims adjuster. We don't determine total-loss valuations or actual cash value; we handle the physical removal, recovery, and disposal once a claim authorizes it.
A Common Claims Bottleneck

Is a Total-Loss Vessel Sitting on an Open Claim?

A damaged, sunken, or abandoned boat left in place while a claim works its way through the process can turn into a bigger liability the longer it sits. AAA Boat Salvage handles the physical side so the claim can move forward.

A total-loss vessel that needs to be removed from a dock, yard, or marina
A sunken or partially submerged boat tied to an open claim
Storm or hurricane season creating a backlog of damaged vessels
Multiple claims from a single CAT event needing coordinated removal
A policyholder who needs a vessel gone before repairs or replacement
Documentation needed for the claims file
A vessel creating a safety or environmental risk while the claim is pending
Coordinating removal across multiple counties or states

Where We Stay in Our Lane

What We Don't Do

We're clear about the boundary between our role and the rest of the claims process.

  • βœ•We don't perform marine surveys, appraisals, or determine total-loss valuations β€” that's the surveyor's or adjuster's call.
  • βœ•We don't process claims, file paperwork, or make coverage decisions on anyone's behalf.
  • βœ•We don't provide legal or subrogation advice.
  • βœ•We invoice whoever authorizes the work β€” we'll coordinate billing details based on how your specific claim is structured, rather than assuming a standing arrangement.
How It Works

1

Tell Us About the Claim

2

3

We Confirm Authorization

We confirm who's authorizing the work and the details before proceeding.

4

We Handle the Removal

We complete the removal or recovery and provide documentation if you need it.

Claims FAQ

Common Questions From Adjusters & Claims Teams

Do you provide marine surveys or total-loss valuations?

No. We're a boat removal and salvage company, not a licensed marine surveyor or appraiser. We handle the physical removal once a claim authorizes it β€” valuation and total-loss determinations stay with your surveyor or adjuster.

Can you invoice the insurance company directly?

We invoice whoever authorizes the work. Billing details depend on how your specific claim is structured β€” let us know when you reach out and we'll work out what makes sense.

Can you handle multiple claims after a hurricane or CAT event?

Yes. We coordinate multi-vessel removal jobs, including bulk cleanup after a storm affecting several policies.

Can you provide documentation for our claims file?

Yes. We can provide photos and documentation of a vessel's condition and location on request.

Do you work directly with adjusters, or only with policyholders?

Both. We're comfortable coordinating with whoever is managing the claim β€” adjuster, surveyor, TPA, or the policyholder directly.

What's your service area?

We provide boat removal and salvage services statewide throughout Florida, plus Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

I had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with the owner Kenneth today. Unfortunate because my in laws got stranded but a pleasure because Kenneth was absolutely amazing. My in laws were 3 hrs from home when they got stranded on the river and the loving children we are were scrambling first thing Saturday morning to find them help. Kenneth was quick and on top of getting their location to get them help. Being that they've been stuck there since last night Mr Kenneth was also quick to ask if they had food and water and needed any supplies. When things where then sorted out and a different company was on the way Mr Kenneth understood and was still very worried about my inlaws getting proper supplies and help. Though we didn't get to use his service I 10/10 recommend due to customer service.

Lesson number 1: Don’t ever put anything in your name for a family member. For 3.5yrs I have stared at an old boat in the yard that said family member finally gave away for free. Sounds great, right? Not when you are sitting at work and see on your cameras that said boat has suddenly reappeared in your front yard. Family member back in their home state, boat now in my front yard…panic attack. Several in fact. The boat was no longer in any kind of donation condition and this isn’t as easy to get rid of as a car or motorcycle which have junk yards. After panic searching and secretly crying in the bathroom at work (several times), I came across AAA Boat Salvage. I reached out for a quote and Kenneth got back to me super fast. He searched my address and let me know he could remove it the next day. He told me what to expect, they sent over paperwork for me to sign, and we confirmed an ETA for the next day. Kenneth kept me posted as he was coming from 2hrs away and I was able to coordinate with work to be home to meet him. He quickly connected the boat, was very professional and while he was prepping for safe transport he had me connect with the office for payment of removal services and my final copies of the necessary documents releasing me from ownership and liability of the boat. I feel much better knowing they will properly strip down the boat and dispose of it correctly and in accordance with environmental laws. It is painful to have to pay to dispose of a old vessel that was never meant to be my problem, but giving away something for free doesn’t mean someone will responsibly remove you from ownership and liability (or won’t dump it back in your yard at a future date like me). The nightmares of this eyesore are over, and Kenneth and the office team kept me sane and made this so easy for me .I am more than happy to recommend them!
