Boat Removal for HOAs & Property Managers

AAA Boat Salvage provides boat removal, salvage, and disposal services for waterfront communities — abandoned boats on shared docks, deed-restriction violations, and multi-property portfolios — statewide across Florida and beyond.

🏘️ Common Area & Portfolio Coverage 📋 Documentation Provided 🗺️ Statewide Florida + GA, AL, NC & SC
Please note: AAA Boat Salvage handles physical boat removal only. We don't enforce HOA covenants, deed restrictions, or CC&Rs, send violation notices, or resolve ownership disputes — those stay with your board and legal counsel. We remove the boat once you're cleared to proceed.
A Common Community Problem

Is a Derelict Boat Sitting on Community Property?

An abandoned or unwanted boat on a shared dock, canal, or common area isn't just an eyesore — it's a liability, a safety issue, and often a violation the board is fielding complaints about. AAA Boat Salvage helps communities resolve these situations.

A boat abandoned by a former resident or tenant
A vessel left on a community dock or canal
A boat in violation of deed restrictions or CC&Rs
Storm-damaged boats after hurricane season
A sunken or partially submerged boat in a community canal
Multiple properties across a portfolio needing removal
Residents raising safety or liability concerns at board meetings
Documentation needed for association or ownership records

Where We Stay in Our Lane

What We Don't Do

We're clear about the boundary between our role and the rest of the association's process.

  • We don't enforce HOA covenants, deed restrictions, or CC&Rs — that's the board's and the association's attorney's role.
  • We don't send violation notices or represent the association legally.
  • We don't resolve ownership disputes between residents or former owners.
  • We invoice whoever authorizes the work — we'll coordinate billing details based on how your community or management company is structured, rather than assuming a standing arrangement.
How It Works

A Straightforward Process for Community Removal

1

Tell Us About the Situation

Call or submit the vessel's condition, location, and where things stand with the board or process.

2

We Evaluate the Job

We review vessel size, condition, access, and any documentation needed.

3

We Confirm Authorization

We confirm who's authorizing the work — board, property manager, or owner — before proceeding.

4

We Handle the Removal

We complete the removal and provide documentation if you need it for association records.

Community FAQ

Common Questions From HOAs & Property Managers

Do you handle the violation notice or legal process?

No. We're not attorneys and don't send violation notices or represent the association legally. We'd recommend working with your association's legal counsel on that side — once you're cleared to proceed, we handle the physical removal.

Can you remove a boat from a shared dock or common area?

Yes. We remove boats from community docks, canals, and common areas, coordinating around your community's access and logistics.

Can property management companies request removal across multiple communities?

Yes. We work with property managers handling a portfolio of communities and can coordinate removal jobs across multiple properties.

Can you invoice the HOA or management company directly?

We invoice whoever authorizes the work. Billing details depend on how your community or management company is structured — let us know when you reach out.

What if the boat owner is unresponsive?

That's common in these situations. Once your board or association has completed whatever process is required to authorize removal, we can proceed with the physical removal.

Do you serve communities statewide?

Yes. We provide boat removal services throughout Florida, plus Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

I had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with the owner Kenneth today. Unfortunate because my in laws got stranded but a pleasure because Kenneth was absolutely amazing. My in laws were 3 hrs from home when they got stranded on the river and the loving children we are were scrambling first thing Saturday morning to find them help. Kenneth was quick and on top of getting their location to get them help. Being that they've been stuck there since last night Mr Kenneth was also quick to ask if they had food and water and needed any supplies. When things where then sorted out and a different company was on the way Mr Kenneth understood and was still very worried about my inlaws getting proper supplies and help. Though we didn't get to use his service I 10/10 recommend due to customer service.

Lesson number 1: Don’t ever put anything in your name for a family member. For 3.5yrs I have stared at an old boat in the yard that said family member finally gave away for free. Sounds great, right? Not when you are sitting at work and see on your cameras that said boat has suddenly reappeared in your front yard. Family member back in their home state, boat now in my front yard…panic attack. Several in fact. The boat was no longer in any kind of donation condition and this isn’t as easy to get rid of as a car or motorcycle which have junk yards. After panic searching and secretly crying in the bathroom at work (several times), I came across AAA Boat Salvage. I reached out for a quote and Kenneth got back to me super fast. He searched my address and let me know he could remove it the next day. He told me what to expect, they sent over paperwork for me to sign, and we confirmed an ETA for the next day. Kenneth kept me posted as he was coming from 2hrs away and I was able to coordinate with work to be home to meet him. He quickly connected the boat, was very professional and while he was prepping for safe transport he had me connect with the office for payment of removal services and my final copies of the necessary documents releasing me from ownership and liability of the boat. I feel much better knowing they will properly strip down the boat and dispose of it correctly and in accordance with environmental laws. It is painful to have to pay to dispose of a old vessel that was never meant to be my problem, but giving away something for free doesn’t mean someone will responsibly remove you from ownership and liability (or won’t dump it back in your yard at a future date like me). The nightmares of this eyesore are over, and Kenneth and the office team kept me sane and made this so easy for me .I am more than happy to recommend them!
