01 / Local coverage

Charlotte County: identify the community, boat and access point

Punta Gorda is Charlotte County’s only incorporated city. Port Charlotte, Rotonda West and other unincorporated communities are also covered. An address and a precise boat position are more useful than a broad county description.

Englewood extends into both Charlotte and Sarasota counties. Its local page covers the community across that boundary; give the exact site address rather than assuming the mailing city identifies the county.

Waterfront removal

Identify the dock or berth and the shore entrance. Show surrounding boats and structures in a wide photograph.

Inland disposal

Describe the hull supports, trailer and route to the road. Identify the items to be considered for paid disposal.

Several sites

Keep each boat’s location, condition, authority and requested outcome separate so the assessment reflects each job.

Charlotte County city and community coverage

Selected community pages

Englewood spans Charlotte and Sarasota counties. Coverage also includes other Charlotte County communities, including El Jobean, Harbour Heights, Placida, Cape Haze and South Gulf Cove. Give the exact site for an assessment. We serve the entire state of Florida.

Services across Charlotte County

Paid boat removal, marine salvage, boat recovery, sunken boat recovery and junk boat disposal are available for assessment. Tell us whether the vessel will be retained after recovery or removed for disposal; those are different end points.

Emergency boat removal and emergency marine salvage requests are accepted 24/7. Deployment depends on safe conditions, site access and available resources.

Urgent vessel requests

Emergency Boat Removal & Marine Salvage

For emergency marine salvage in Charlotte County, call with the vessel location, condition, and what has changed. Describe any obstruction or restricted access. We assess the request and discuss current crew and equipment availability; arrival time must be confirmed for the situation.

03 / Scope & access

Match the request to the current site

A vessel owner’s mailing address may differ from the place where the boat sits. Use the current position and provide the contact who can arrange entry.

Your request checklist

  • Give the Charlotte community and exact site.
  • Describe the current hull condition.
  • Identify authorization and access contacts.
  • Specify recovery, removal and paid disposal requirements.

What shapes your Charlotte County estimate?

Charlotte County estimates depend on the boat’s position, condition and working access. Recovery from water and removal from inland storage are different scopes, even for similar-sized vessels.

Removal, recovery and disposal are paid services. Ask what is included, what is excluded, and which changes would require a revised estimate before work begins.

Charlotte County access and removal questions

Does Ainger Creek Park Boat Ramp establish access to my boat in Charlotte County?

The saved FWC record identifies Ainger Creek Park Boat Ramp on Lemon Bay - Ainger Creek - Rocky Creek in Charlotte County. That identifies a public access reference, not a reserved working route. Send the actual vessel position and confirm current operator permission before relying on this location.

How should I compare Ainger Creek Park Boat Ramp and Placida Park Boat Ramp?

Use the vessel’s actual position, the allowed approach and equipment needs. The directory records Ainger Creek Park Boat Ramp on Lemon Bay - Ainger Creek - Rocky Creek and Placida Park Boat Ramp on Placida Harbor. Straight-line proximity to a place reference point does not establish the suitable recovery route.

What location details matter within Charlotte County?

Provide the vessel pin and authorized entrance, then describe whether it is afloat, submerged or ashore. The listed location for Ainger Creek Park Boat Ramp is 2011 PLACIDA RD, ENGLEWOOD, 34224; do not substitute that ramp address for a boat elsewhere.

These answers use the saved ramp records linked below. They do not confirm present opening status, commercial-use permission or a completed AAA job at those sites.

I had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with the owner Kenneth today. Unfortunate because my in laws got stranded but a pleasure because Kenneth was absolutely amazing. My in laws were 3 hrs from home when they got stranded on the river and the loving children we are were scrambling first thing Saturday morning to find them help. Kenneth was quick and on top of getting their location to get them help. Being that they've been stuck there since last night Mr Kenneth was also quick to ask if they had food and water and needed any supplies. When things where then sorted out and a different company was on the way Mr Kenneth understood and was still very worried about my inlaws getting proper supplies and help. Though we didn't get to use his service I 10/10 recommend due to customer service.

Lesson number 1: Don’t ever put anything in your name for a family member. For 3.5yrs I have stared at an old boat in the yard that said family member finally gave away for free. Sounds great, right? Not when you are sitting at work and see on your cameras that said boat has suddenly reappeared in your front yard. Family member back in their home state, boat now in my front yard…panic attack. Several in fact. The boat was no longer in any kind of donation condition and this isn’t as easy to get rid of as a car or motorcycle which have junk yards. After panic searching and secretly crying in the bathroom at work (several times), I came across AAA Boat Salvage. I reached out for a quote and Kenneth got back to me super fast. He searched my address and let me know he could remove it the next day. He told me what to expect, they sent over paperwork for me to sign, and we confirmed an ETA for the next day. Kenneth kept me posted as he was coming from 2hrs away and I was able to coordinate with work to be home to meet him. He quickly connected the boat, was very professional and while he was prepping for safe transport he had me connect with the office for payment of removal services and my final copies of the necessary documents releasing me from ownership and liability of the boat. I feel much better knowing they will properly strip down the boat and dispose of it correctly and in accordance with environmental laws. It is painful to have to pay to dispose of a old vessel that was never meant to be my problem, but giving away something for free doesn’t mean someone will responsibly remove you from ownership and liability (or won’t dump it back in your yard at a future date like me). The nightmares of this eyesore are over, and Kenneth and the office team kept me sane and made this so easy for me .I am more than happy to recommend them!
