Grounded or displaced vessels
Show the relationship between the boat and the shoreline, nearby structures, and visible bottom contact. State when the photos were taken and whether the position has changed since then.

A boat resting against a shoreline or taking on water at a dock needs an assessment of its current position. AAA Boat Salvage provides marine salvage, sunken boat recovery, emergency boat removal, and paid junk boat disposal in New Smyrna Beach. Tell us what has happened and whether the vessel is to be recovered or discarded.

The northern Indian River Lagoon runs through New Smyrna Beach. For a vessel in or beside the water, a precise map pin helps separate the boat location from its usual berth or the nearest road. Include the dock, property, or marina contact where applicable.
A grounded or storm-displaced boat may have changed position since the first photograph. Describe where it is now and what supports the hull. Do not treat the nearest public launch or shoreline access as a confirmed work site; equipment access needs its own assessment.
Show the relationship between the boat and the shoreline, nearby structures, and visible bottom contact. State when the photos were taken and whether the position has changed since then.
Provide the slip or dock identifier and photographs that include surrounding boats and pilings. Explain any restricted entry or limited working area to the person assessing the request.
Tell us at the outset if the vessel is to be discarded. The estimate should identify recovery from the water, removal, and disposal separately so the intended outcome is clear.
For deteriorated or unwanted vessels, describe the hull condition and how it is supported. We assess removal and disposal requirements and discuss an estimate for the agreed work.
Boat disposal services →For a fully or partially submerged boat, send the exact position and depth if known. Dock layout, hull condition, and the available working area help determine the recovery requirements.
Sunken boat recovery services →Describe a grounded, damaged, or displaced vessel and the conditions around it. Marine recovery planning begins with its current position and the access available for the crew and equipment.
Tell us your relationship to the vessel or property and what authorization information is available. For storm damage, include current photographs and explain any change in the boat’s position.
Abandoned boat removal →For emergency marine salvage in New Smyrna Beach, call with the vessel location, condition, and what has changed. Describe any obstruction or restricted access. We assess the request and discuss current crew and equipment availability; arrival time must be confirmed for the situation.
Call About Emergency RemovalFor a changing situation, call with the current position and observations. If measurements such as depth or boat weight are unknown, say so. Wide photographs and the exact location help identify what additional information is needed before a recovery method can be confirmed.
A grounded hull, a boat submerged beside a dock, and a vessel already on land can require different equipment and work. The New Smyrna Beach estimate depends on the current position, hull condition, and access. A combined recovery and disposal request should identify what happens after the vessel is retrieved.
Ask what is included, what is excluded, and which changes would require a revised estimate before work begins.
Provide the present location and the nearest authorized site entrance. Include photos if available and your requested timing.
We discuss the boat’s condition, access, authorization, and whether additional information or a site assessment is needed.
Agree on the recovery or removal tasks, disposal requirements, estimate, and site contact before scheduling.
Discuss any completion photographs or records you need when arranging the job so expectations are clear from the start.
Yes. Send the exact position, recent photographs, and a description of what the hull is resting on. We discuss access and the recovery requirements for that site.
Tell us which measurements are unknown. Share the location, boat type, approximate length, and photographs from an accessible position so we can discuss further assessment needs.
Clarify the intended outcome when requesting an estimate. Recovery and disposal are separate tasks, and the agreed scope should state whether both are included.
Yes. Paid junk boat disposal also applies to vessels on land. Include photographs of the boat, its supports, and the route to the property entrance.

I had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with the owner Kenneth today. Unfortunate because my in laws got stranded but a pleasure because Kenneth was absolutely amazing. My in laws were 3 hrs from home when they got stranded on the river and the loving children we are were scrambling first thing Saturday morning to find them help. Kenneth was quick and on top of getting their location to get them help. Being that they've been stuck there since last night Mr Kenneth was also quick to ask if they had food and water and needed any supplies. When things where then sorted out and a different company was on the way Mr Kenneth understood and was still very worried about my inlaws getting proper supplies and help. Though we didn't get to use his service I 10/10 recommend due to customer service.Posted on Google![]()

Lesson number 1: Don’t ever put anything in your name for a family member. For 3.5yrs I have stared at an old boat in the yard that said family member finally gave away for free. Sounds great, right? Not when you are sitting at work and see on your cameras that said boat has suddenly reappeared in your front yard. Family member back in their home state, boat now in my front yard…panic attack. Several in fact. The boat was no longer in any kind of donation condition and this isn’t as easy to get rid of as a car or motorcycle which have junk yards. After panic searching and secretly crying in the bathroom at work (several times), I came across AAA Boat Salvage. I reached out for a quote and Kenneth got back to me super fast. He searched my address and let me know he could remove it the next day. He told me what to expect, they sent over paperwork for me to sign, and we confirmed an ETA for the next day. Kenneth kept me posted as he was coming from 2hrs away and I was able to coordinate with work to be home to meet him. He quickly connected the boat, was very professional and while he was prepping for safe transport he had me connect with the office for payment of removal services and my final copies of the necessary documents releasing me from ownership and liability of the boat. I feel much better knowing they will properly strip down the boat and dispose of it correctly and in accordance with environmental laws. It is painful to have to pay to dispose of a old vessel that was never meant to be my problem, but giving away something for free doesn’t mean someone will responsibly remove you from ownership and liability (or won’t dump it back in your yard at a future date like me). The nightmares of this eyesore are over, and Kenneth and the office team kept me sane and made this so easy for me .I am more than happy to recommend them!Posted on Google![]()
