A launch on a lake does not necessarily provide access to a boat on private waterfront property. Identify the boat’s side of the water, the shore contact and the exact position.

Source: FWC boat-ramp inventory, retrieved October 6, 2026. Selected records list government-owned public access and “Open for Business”; this is not a live closure check. Hand-launch-only sites and listed closures are excluded. Confirm current conditions, hours, fees and any commercial-use permission with the operator. A listed ramp is not a promised recovery route or an AAA facility.
For a recovery estimate, send the boat’s actual location. The nearest public launch may not be the suitable recovery access point.
For a boat near Newnans Lake, provide the exact position, visible hull condition and depth if known. Identify shore access and any surrounding structures; do not assume a public ramp can serve the job.
Show the current supports or trailer and the approach from the property entrance. Identify gates, turns and overhead restrictions rather than relying on older photographs of the boat in use.
Name the person authorized to approve vessel work and the person who can coordinate entry. Explain unresolved ownership or access issues before work is agreed.
Identify the boat, trailer and detached vessel material separately. Specify what should leave and what should remain. Recovery and disposal are separate tasks; confirm both if both are needed. A boat removal request does not imply general property cleanup.
Boat length and condition, water position or supports, working space and the agreed end point determine the work assessed. The public ramp references do not establish an equipment route or a fixed price.
Ask which recovery, removal and disposal tasks are included, what is excluded and what would require a revised estimate. If an insurer is involved, confirm coverage and payment arrangements with that insurer.
No. FWC lists it as a public access reference, but the vessel location, route, working conditions and operator permission must be reviewed separately.
Yes. Call with the actual position, current condition and what is changing. 24/7 availability does not guarantee immediate field deployment or a particular arrival time.
Yes. Provide current images of the supports and entrance route, and identify any remaining vessel material to include.
Only when disposal is included in the agreed scope. Tell us if you intend to retain the vessel instead.
View AAA recovery and removal photographs. Library images illustrate working conditions; detailed local case studies require confirmed project facts.
For work in Alachua County, identify whether the boat is at a dock, along a bank, on a trailer or resting on land. Supply the site contact and describe the route available for equipment.
The local ramp references include Earl P. Powers Park Boat Ramp on Newnans Lake. A listed ramp is a location aid; confirm current access and commercial-use arrangements with its operator.
For a boat on private property, describe gate clearance, surface conditions and obstacles. For a boat in water, share its exact position and known depth from a safe location. Identify recovery, removal and paid disposal separately in the requested scope.
For a boat-removal request in Alachua County, provide the vessel’s exact position. The local reference list includes Earl P. Powers Park Boat Ramp on Newnans Lake. This reference does not establish an approved recovery or loading site.
If your access is closer to Holden Park Public Boat Ramp, identify that separately and describe whether the vessel is at a dock, along the bank or on adjacent private property. Confirm entry and equipment access with the person controlling the site.
For a boat on land, describe its supports, trailer condition, gate clearance and the route to a possible loading area. For a boat still in the water, tell us whether recovery is required before removal. Identify the vessel and any trailer or detached material separately in the requested scope.
County coverage includes different communities and access conditions. Use the city guides below for the individual location, then confirm the actual work site when requesting an estimate.
Give the exact address or water location, vessel size and condition, ownership or authorization details, and safe access photographs. Tell us whether you need recovery, removal, paid disposal, or a combination.

I had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with the owner Kenneth today. Unfortunate because my in laws got stranded but a pleasure because Kenneth was absolutely amazing. My in laws were 3 hrs from home when they got stranded on the river and the loving children we are were scrambling first thing Saturday morning to find them help. Kenneth was quick and on top of getting their location to get them help. Being that they've been stuck there since last night Mr Kenneth was also quick to ask if they had food and water and needed any supplies. When things where then sorted out and a different company was on the way Mr Kenneth understood and was still very worried about my inlaws getting proper supplies and help. Though we didn't get to use his service I 10/10 recommend due to customer service.Posted on Google![]()

Lesson number 1: Don’t ever put anything in your name for a family member. For 3.5yrs I have stared at an old boat in the yard that said family member finally gave away for free. Sounds great, right? Not when you are sitting at work and see on your cameras that said boat has suddenly reappeared in your front yard. Family member back in their home state, boat now in my front yard…panic attack. Several in fact. The boat was no longer in any kind of donation condition and this isn’t as easy to get rid of as a car or motorcycle which have junk yards. After panic searching and secretly crying in the bathroom at work (several times), I came across AAA Boat Salvage. I reached out for a quote and Kenneth got back to me super fast. He searched my address and let me know he could remove it the next day. He told me what to expect, they sent over paperwork for me to sign, and we confirmed an ETA for the next day. Kenneth kept me posted as he was coming from 2hrs away and I was able to coordinate with work to be home to meet him. He quickly connected the boat, was very professional and while he was prepping for safe transport he had me connect with the office for payment of removal services and my final copies of the necessary documents releasing me from ownership and liability of the boat. I feel much better knowing they will properly strip down the boat and dispose of it correctly and in accordance with environmental laws. It is painful to have to pay to dispose of a old vessel that was never meant to be my problem, but giving away something for free doesn’t mean someone will responsibly remove you from ownership and liability (or won’t dump it back in your yard at a future date like me). The nightmares of this eyesore are over, and Kenneth and the office team kept me sane and made this so easy for me .I am more than happy to recommend them!Posted on Google![]()
