AAA Boat Salvage is owned and operated by Kenneth Farmer, a Florida native whose family has worked these waters for generations. Here's the story behind the boat removal and salvage service that carries the family name, now serving boat owners throughout Florida, Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
I'm Kenneth Farmer, the owner of AAA Boat Salvage and the driving force behind our marine salvage and boat removal services. As a Florida native with a family history in commercial fishing and boat salvage dating back to 1847, this business is my passion, not just a livelihood.
My journey began as a child aboard the shrimp boat "Miss Jackie," learning the ropes of shrimping alongside my grandfather. Over the years I expanded my experience into mullet fishing, stone crabbing, and blue crabbing, while picking up hands-on knowledge of boat maintenance, starting with wooden vessels and later transitioning to fiberglass boats.
In my 30s I further honed my craft working with Andy Grant at the Crusader shop, perfecting my boat-building skills. That experience, combined with a lifetime spent on Florida's waters, has given me a deep understanding of what it takes to safely assess, recover, and remove a boat, no matter the condition or location.
