Pensacola recovery: connect the berth, owner and facility contact

Pensacola Bay and Bayou Chico provide waterfront context for local requests. A marina name alone may lead to an office rather than the vessel. Supply the berth identifier and recent images of surrounding structures so the actual working area can be assessed.

If you are requesting recovery on behalf of an owner, identify who approves vessel work and who coordinates facility access. For a boat already recovered to land, show its present supports and explain which disposal tasks remain.

Current vessel position

For a sunken or listing vessel, supply its exact berth or site and current condition. Provide depth only if known; do not guess at hidden damage.

Authorized site contact

Identify who can approve the vessel work and who can coordinate entry. These may be different people.

Defined removal scope

List the hull, trailer and associated vessel material to include, and specify items that should remain.

Pensacola access and removal questions

Does Bayview Park Boat Ramp establish access to my boat in Pensacola?

The saved FWC record identifies Bayview Park Boat Ramp on Pensacola Bay - Bayou Texar in Escambia County. That identifies a public access reference, not a reserved working route. Send the actual vessel position and confirm current operator permission before relying on this location.

How should I compare Bayview Park Boat Ramp and Bayou Texar Public Boat Ramp?

Use the vessel’s actual position, the allowed approach and equipment needs. The directory records Bayview Park Boat Ramp on Pensacola Bay - Bayou Texar and Bayou Texar Public Boat Ramp on Pensacola Bay - Bayou Texar. Straight-line proximity to a place reference point does not establish the suitable recovery route.

What should I send for a Pensacola recovery assessment?

Provide the vessel pin and authorized entrance, then describe whether it is afloat, submerged or ashore. The listed location for Bayview Park Boat Ramp is 2001 East Lloyd Street, PENSACOLA, 32503; do not substitute that ramp address for a boat elsewhere.

These answers use the saved ramp records linked below. They do not confirm present opening status, commercial-use permission or a completed AAA job at those sites.

I had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with the owner Kenneth today. Unfortunate because my in laws got stranded but a pleasure because Kenneth was absolutely amazing. My in laws were 3 hrs from home when they got stranded on the river and the loving children we are were scrambling first thing Saturday morning to find them help. Kenneth was quick and on top of getting their location to get them help. Being that they've been stuck there since last night Mr Kenneth was also quick to ask if they had food and water and needed any supplies. When things where then sorted out and a different company was on the way Mr Kenneth understood and was still very worried about my inlaws getting proper supplies and help. Though we didn't get to use his service I 10/10 recommend due to customer service.

Lesson number 1: Don’t ever put anything in your name for a family member. For 3.5yrs I have stared at an old boat in the yard that said family member finally gave away for free. Sounds great, right? Not when you are sitting at work and see on your cameras that said boat has suddenly reappeared in your front yard. Family member back in their home state, boat now in my front yard…panic attack. Several in fact. The boat was no longer in any kind of donation condition and this isn’t as easy to get rid of as a car or motorcycle which have junk yards. After panic searching and secretly crying in the bathroom at work (several times), I came across AAA Boat Salvage. I reached out for a quote and Kenneth got back to me super fast. He searched my address and let me know he could remove it the next day. He told me what to expect, they sent over paperwork for me to sign, and we confirmed an ETA for the next day. Kenneth kept me posted as he was coming from 2hrs away and I was able to coordinate with work to be home to meet him. He quickly connected the boat, was very professional and while he was prepping for safe transport he had me connect with the office for payment of removal services and my final copies of the necessary documents releasing me from ownership and liability of the boat. I feel much better knowing they will properly strip down the boat and dispose of it correctly and in accordance with environmental laws. It is painful to have to pay to dispose of a old vessel that was never meant to be my problem, but giving away something for free doesn’t mean someone will responsibly remove you from ownership and liability (or won’t dump it back in your yard at a future date like me). The nightmares of this eyesore are over, and Kenneth and the office team kept me sane and made this so easy for me .I am more than happy to recommend them!
