Start with your boat’s exact location. A city or waterway name helps orient the request; an address, location pin and access photos help us assess the actual job.

Gulf Coast & Mobile Bay

For requests around Mobile, Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Fairhope, Daphne and Foley, tell us whether the boat is in a slip, beside a dock or on land. Include marina work windows and available equipment access.

03 / Prepare for an estimate

What determines
your removal quote?

Boat dimensions, condition, recovery needs, equipment access, transport and disposal all affect the scope. We evaluate the job individually instead of giving one price for every vessel.

Share your boat details

The vessel

Approximate length, boat type, whether it floats, visible damage and trailer condition. Take photos only from a safe position.

The site

Address or location pin, access route, nearby structures, gate restrictions and the marina or property contact.

The requested outcome

Removal and disposal, recovery or relocation. Tell us about deadlines, requested documentation and who can authorize the work.

04 / From inquiry to removal

Know the next step
before work begins.

For abandoned vessels, your authority to arrange removal must be established. For insurance-related work, confirm approvals and documentation requirements with your insurer.

  1. Send the location and photos

Describe the boat and the access available.

  2. Discuss the assessment

Review recovery needs, equipment, handling and disposal.

  3. Confirm scope and authorization

Agree on the work, billing contact and requested records.

  4. Arrange site access

Confirm availability and scheduling with the property or marina contact.

06 / Alabama questions

Before you arrange
boat removal.

How much does boat removal cost in Alabama?

Cost depends on the boat’s size and condition, location, equipment access, recovery requirements, transport and disposal. Send photos and an exact location so we can discuss the scope. Confirm whether the trailer and any additional items are included in the estimate.

Can you assess a boat on an inland lake or river?

Yes. Share the waterway name, nearest address or location pin, marina or ramp contact and any access restrictions. We confirm whether the site and job can be accommodated before scheduling.

My boat is on a damaged trailer. Can it be removed?

Tell us about the trailer’s wheels, frame and hitch and provide photos from a safe position. Do not assume the trailer can be towed. We assess handling options and agree on whether both boat and trailer are included.

A tenant left a boat on my property. What do I need?

Explain the ownership situation and who is requesting the work. Resolve ownership and removal authority with the appropriate local authority or legal counsel before scheduling. We handle physical removal once authorization is confirmed.

Can marinas or property managers arrange several removals?

Yes. Provide a vessel list, the location of each boat, site contacts and preferred work windows. We review access and authorization for each vessel before confirming the scope and schedule.

Can I ask about boat transport or insurance-related recovery?

Yes. For relocation, share the intended destination, dimensions and condition. For an insurance-related recovery, ask your insurer about approvals and required documentation. We confirm what work can be arranged for the specific job; coverage decisions remain with your insurer.

How do I confirm service at my Alabama address?

Use the short form or call 888-702-5785 with the exact location and vessel details. Availability depends on the site, access and work required. Submitting a request does not reserve a removal date.

I had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with the owner Kenneth today. Unfortunate because my in laws got stranded but a pleasure because Kenneth was absolutely amazing. My in laws were 3 hrs from home when they got stranded on the river and the loving children we are were scrambling first thing Saturday morning to find them help. Kenneth was quick and on top of getting their location to get them help. Being that they've been stuck there since last night Mr Kenneth was also quick to ask if they had food and water and needed any supplies. When things where then sorted out and a different company was on the way Mr Kenneth understood and was still very worried about my inlaws getting proper supplies and help. Though we didn't get to use his service I 10/10 recommend due to customer service.

Lesson number 1: Don’t ever put anything in your name for a family member. For 3.5yrs I have stared at an old boat in the yard that said family member finally gave away for free. Sounds great, right? Not when you are sitting at work and see on your cameras that said boat has suddenly reappeared in your front yard. Family member back in their home state, boat now in my front yard…panic attack. Several in fact. The boat was no longer in any kind of donation condition and this isn’t as easy to get rid of as a car or motorcycle which have junk yards. After panic searching and secretly crying in the bathroom at work (several times), I came across AAA Boat Salvage. I reached out for a quote and Kenneth got back to me super fast. He searched my address and let me know he could remove it the next day. He told me what to expect, they sent over paperwork for me to sign, and we confirmed an ETA for the next day. Kenneth kept me posted as he was coming from 2hrs away and I was able to coordinate with work to be home to meet him. He quickly connected the boat, was very professional and while he was prepping for safe transport he had me connect with the office for payment of removal services and my final copies of the necessary documents releasing me from ownership and liability of the boat. I feel much better knowing they will properly strip down the boat and dispose of it correctly and in accordance with environmental laws. It is painful to have to pay to dispose of a old vessel that was never meant to be my problem, but giving away something for free doesn’t mean someone will responsibly remove you from ownership and liability (or won’t dump it back in your yard at a future date like me). The nightmares of this eyesore are over, and Kenneth and the office team kept me sane and made this so easy for me .I am more than happy to recommend them!
