“We recovered wild goose was abandoned FWC had put a red sticker on it given the owner of the vessel 21 days to remove it we complied and called FWC and they cooperated with us about removing said vessel while goose we removed the fuel out of the vessel we had to move the engines remove the engines out of the vessel and then we had to tow the vessel off The Sandbar then we put the vessel on the trailer and did disposal on it. I’m Kenneth Farmer, the driving force behind our esteemed marine salvage and boat services. As a Florida native with a deep-rooted history in commercial fishing and boat salvage dating back to 1847, this business is more than just a livelihood—it’s a passion. My life on the water allows me to help others and experience unique moments that few ever will.
My journey began as a child on the shrimp boat “Miss Jackie”, with my grandfather, where I started heading shrimp. As I grew older, I expanded into mullet fishing, stone crabbing, and blue crabbing, all while learning the intricacies of boat maintenance, initially with wooden vessels and later with fiberglass.
In my 30s, I honed my boat-building skills, working alongside Andy Grant at the Crusader shop. This hands-on experience, combined with my Florida upbringing, has given me an intimate knowledge of these waters, allowing me to provide expert services confidently throughout the state.
Beyond boats and salvage, my focus is on building trust and strong relationships within our community. I value the personal touch—a handshake, a direct approach—treating every client as a valued neighbor and every job as a commitment to the enduring values of our family legacy.
